Dorothy L. Mack Bradshaw, 80, was born on March 1, 1932 in Hastings, FL. to the late Israel Daniels and Elizabeth “Betty” Armstrong. Dorothy began her education in Florida, then moved to New London CT where she graduated from Chapman Tech High School, she went on to attend New London Business College. Dorothy started her career as a Psychological Tech at Norwich State hospital, them upon moving to Buffalo NY she continued in the mental field at Buffalo Mental State Hospital where she later retired. Once retired she and Tim followed her daughters to Clearlake CA, where she fell in love with her community. Dorothy loved God and the church. She was ordained as a Deacon in Clearlake Lake CA under the direction of Pastor Lynda Davis Robinson. Dot had a great enthusiasm for life, she was an avid bowling with black bowlers association of Buffalo NY. She enjoyed fishing, traveling, entertaining and life in general. She became a member of the Eastern Star Association in 1965, in New London CT and was also an affiliated member of the Masons. Dorothy and Tim enjoyed the easy life of cruising, their passion to them as far as Rome, Italy. She enjoyed playing cards; she was “boss” at bid whist. She is survived by Daughters Bernice “Beadie” and (Lamarr) Lacy of Clearlake CA and Rose M. Mack of Clearlake CA, Son David T. Bradshaw of Buffalo, NY, (Sons Bruce Clay and Daniel E. Bradshaw who preceded her in death). One brother Clarence Daniels of Miami FL, to sisters Barbara “BJ” and (Bobby) Alexander of San Leandro, CA, Virginia Henderson of New York, Pauline Shannon of Florida. Three Grandchildren Rosalind R. Lacy of Modesto, CA, Chante S. Lacy of Los Angeles CA and Timothy E. Bradshaw of Buffalo, NY. two nieces Dawn S. Robinson of Los Angeles, CA & Dana R. and (Troy) Roberts of Pittsburg, CA. Nephews Charles Henderson of South Africa and Michael Henderson of New York. She leaves host of nieces and nephews in Buffalo, NY, as well as many friends.
